Umpire Falls, Does Splits After Calling Baserunner Safe

Umpire Gary Cederstrom was making a call at third base on Friday night at Kauffman Stadium when he apparently hit a slick patch in the grass. During the top of the second inning between the San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Royals, catcher Salvador Perez tried to throw out Joaquin Arias at third base. Cederstrom correctly called Arias safe, but then he started to slide and unintentionally did the splits. The Royals ended up winning the game 4-2. [MLB.com, h/t Yahoo Sports]
